- Is it enough to just do data analysis for web marketing?
- In addition to data analysis, the “customer perspective” experienced through actual store surveys is considered equally important. Looking only at data can bias your thinking, so we recommend adding information obtained by actually seeing and experiencing with your own eyes. Just as in regular marketing, it is important to understand the customer.
- I want to improve my website, how can I make it more customer-focused?
- We recommend that you first experience your company’s or competitor’s services as a customer and try to put your feelings into words and text. By experiencing what kind of customer service you would like to receive and what kind of information you would like to have on your website, you can get closer to the customer’s point of view. It is important to formulate your perceptions from your experiences, rather than just thinking about them in your head.
- Is there anything that the team should be aware of in order to achieve results in web marketing?
- It would be a great advantage if the entire organization could share the insights and images gained from the customer experience.By manifesting what is in the minds of individuals in words and letters, and sharing them with the team, it will be easier to implement strategies and tactics from a consistent customer perspective.
Web marketing and sales promotion on the Web may give the impression of doing something with data. In reality, however, it is just like regular marketing.
As a framework, the 3C’s are often used first in competitive research, but we also use other macro strategies such as the 4P’s of the marketing mix, SWOT analysis, PEST analysis, and so on.
However, often, when we only look at the data, we become so preoccupied that we fail to recognize the bias in our own thinking and are unable to come up with new and exciting ideas.
Therefore, I recommend that you add as much information as possible that you can see and feel, such as through physical store surveys, and then consider strategies and tactics based on that information.
We recommend that you experience this as a “customer-facing survey” for both your company and your competitors.
What kind of customer service would you like to receive and what kind of information would you like to have on your website? By experiencing these things, you will get closer to the customer’s perspective. It is difficult at first if you are thinking with your head.
Then, I manifest everything that is in my head into words or letters. Most of the time you don’t notice it unless you do it intentionally, but when you put it into form, you can see your thoughts.
And if this is shared throughout the organization, it is extremely strong. It is that important to be able to experience and visualize it.
